Sticky: All Stars Cricket 2018

Frenchay is excited to announce that ALL STARS CRICKET is back !!!!

All Stars Cricket provides boys and girls from 5-8 years old with 8 weeks of non-stop fun. The activity and game based programme is suitable for all skill levels, providing your child with the foundations to begin a lifelong love of physical activity and cricket, while making friends in a safe and enjoyable environment.

Frenchay Cricket Club is offering the All Stars programme to boys and girls who are in school years 1 and 2. We already run a thriving under 9s section, and we see the All Stars programme catering for the children who are too young for that age group. This was our approach last year for the first All Stars programme and we think it worked really well.

YOUNG VOLUNTEERS – CRICKET ACTIVATORS COURSE

We are planning to promote an ‘Activators Course’ at the Club around Easter, appropriate for U15+ age groups.

This is an ECB course and more information is on their website below

The idea is to encourage young people to get involved with the volunteering side of cricket. We know that some of our young players have already had a taste of this and have really enjoyed it.

There are no financial costs.

The benefits of this can be far reaching, from just helping out at your local club, to being able to add genuine value to your child’s CV.

Anyone interested is asked to contact either Manfred frenchayyouth@gmail.com or me bycl@blueyonder.co.uk
